COMMISSION

Every project has a design and a production lead time. Depending on the size of the project this can vary between weeks and months. We discuss the timeline of the project and give a price estimate or quotation, depending on the details of the commission. Initial sketches of projects are free of charge. Revisioned and more detailed drawings or 3D renders are charged at 5% of the project cost in case of the project not coming to fruitition. All sketches, designs and 3D renders remain the intellectual property of Dániel Galambosi and Levente Kruppa. Before booking an appointment at our workshop, please send us an e-mail with your vision.

MATERIALS

Book an appointment via email or phone and visit us to discuss colors and material choices together. Wood and finish samples are always available in the studio. If you have something specific in mind let us know via email. We value natural features of wood and believe them to give furniture a touch of uniqueness. Unless you wish otherwise at the point of your enquiry, natural character features of wood may appear in your final piece of furniture. We source our materials through local companies from Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.

MAKING

All of our furniture is bespoke - we do not have items in stock. This means we can always customise our work to make something unique and one of a kind.

PRICING

Once the price, materials and design are finalized in writing, we ask for a 50% deposit to be able to start the process and ordering of necessary materials. The remaining 50% is due according to mutual written agreement.

PRODUCTION

If you have a definite deadline please let us know at the beginning, for this can play a role in workshop logistics and price. We will notify you by email and/or telephone of any delays at the earliest opportunity.

AFTERCARE

Our finishes (Osmo and Bona) are derived from natural oils and waxes which allow the wood to breathe but keep it clean at the same time.
You can clean your furniture with warm soapy water and pat dry gently. Consider using wax cleaners every year for maintenance. If you are not sure how to use these products or which one to buy, let us know at galambosidani@gmail.com - we are happy to give advice.

ALAPANYAGOK

You are welcome to book an appointment and visit the studio, meet personally and discuss colors and material choices together. Wood samples are always available in the studio. For more specific samples please write to us at mail@galambosi.com.

You can clean your furniture with warm soapy water as well. Liquid wax cleaners can also be applied annually to keep the wood finish up to strength. If you are not sure how to treat your piece of furniture, feel free to write to us at mail@galambosi.com.
